GROUP LEADER POSITIONS, SCHOOL AGE PROGRAM
Work with children ages 5-13 in a group setting Monday - Friday, 1:30-5:30 p.m., (7:30 a.m.- 5:30 p.m. school vacation weeks).  Program activities include recreation, arts & crafts, homework assistance, computer lab, literacy, math and science programs, cultural and performing arts activities, games, socialization, field trips and guest speakers. PRESCHOOL TEACHER POSITION
Full Time position working with 3-5 year olds. Developmental curriculum, supportive environment, benefits. Must be a responsible, active member of the teaching team by helping develop curriculum and by lending support to volunteers and interns. Must be capable of assuming additional responsibilities of a classroom in the absence of another teaching staff member. Work with children on an individual basis, in small groups and in large groups.Assist the Lead Teacher in curriculum planning, classroom arrangement and carrying out the program in order to establish a warm, nurturing and stimulating atmosphere.Attend and participate in workshops and training sessions. Establish and maintain good communication with parents as well as agency support service staff. Minimum requirements include an AA in ECE. Email: kharned@rainbowcdc.com

PRESCHOOL FLOATER TEACHER POSITION

Must be a responsible, active member of the afternoon teaching team by helping develop curriculum and by lending support to volunteers and interns. Must be capable of assuming additional responsibilities of a classroom in the absence of another teaching staff member. Work with children on an individual basis, in small groups and in large groups.Assist the Lead Afternoon Teacher in curriculum planning, classroom arrangement and carrying out the program in order to establish a warm, nurturing and stimulating atmosphere. Responsible for covering teacher's breaks by assuming their responsibilites while covering the room. Responsible for substituting for a teacher in the case of an emergency. Attend and participate in workshops and training sessions. Establish and maintain good communication with parents as well as agency support service staff. Minimum requirements include an AA in ECE. VOLUNTEER AT RAINBOW! RAINBOW CAN PUT YOUR TALENTS TO USE!         Do you have a special talent that you would like to share with children and/or staff? Do you like to read to children? Are you interested in occasionally helping out in the office stuffing envelopes, etc.? Volunteers are special people. Whether it is coming into a classroom or our after school program and reading to the children, playing a board game, having a conversation with a child, teaching a special craft, helping with homework or providing tutoring assistance, or helping a teacher set up activities for play, your presence makes a difference in the lives of our children.
